The sport shoes firm MUNICH opened a new POP UP STORE in the exclusive La Roca Village shopping center near Barcelona. The design and concept of the store was made by Studio Animal, a creative office created by the architect Javier Jimenez. In cartonLab we have made the production and structural design of all the elements
The store has a 100m2 area and it features a staggered wall made of cardboard that is over 40 meters long. This wall wraps around the interior ground following a path in an “X” shape (brand emblem) and defining the different areas: Entrance area, central exhibition space, and customer service, storage areas, etc.
We took this cardboard WALL to integrate graphic communication and the footwear exposure. For this purpose more than 400 modular supports have been specially designed that join the wall to expose the shoes.
The integration and graphic communication design has been one of the key elements of the project and includes both graphic elements for direct application on the wall and on the floor. The application was made using colorful vinyl stickers. In the case of the pavement there are brightly colored stripes that accompany the rhythm of the staggered walls. On the walls a graphic line drawn in flat ink was chosen, showing the product cleanly and at various scales.
Together with the exhibitors at the walls, sales and customer service counter made of cardboard were also designed, in addition to 4 stools for customers’ use, which we have personalized with the logo of the brand.
